Dr. Darcella Sessomes IS the Change You Can Believe In

Dr. Darcella Sessomes is a nationally sought-after speaker and a well-known public servant. Her career spans over 30 years, with over half dedicated to state government, working in various high-level leadership positions.

Dr. Sessomes is a fierce and well-respected management strategist and government leader known for being fiscally responsible, championing diversity, equity inclusion, and belonging, and her leadership I-ACT model: Integrity, Accountability, Civility, and Transparency. “I have a genuine love for the residents of our city. They are the heart and soul of Plainfield, and I will always keep them first”, said Sessomes.

Dr. Sessomes is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in New Jersey and the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania and is the founder and CEO of Sessomes & Associates Counseling & Consulting. She holds four college degrees, is a pastoral associate, and has been a Plainfield native and resident since 1997.
